Could anyone please advise me that what's going on is ok normal or what I should do.

Since my laparoscopy 5 weeks ago iv showed infection from week 2 been in pain on antibiotics hospital the lot. Now my urine still showing infection. White cells blood and protein blood is always there I'm under urology having investigations for that. The thing is my back is always killing real bad it's come on today too much. I rung the docs and they said no further action needed regarding my urine told me to bring another sample in. Has anyone else experienced this it's worrying and frustrating me.

Drink plenty of cranberry juice .. I have a similar issue but with my bowels since December and under investigation with a colorectal .. I went online, did a bit of research on the best thing to flush my bowels and apple juice come up .. Obviously knew about the prime juice .. It's not cured my issue but I'm not so constipated now that I can't keep awake, or sick, or can't breathe. Give it a go .. about 65p a carton at Aldi .. I do about a litre a day!

Good luck. Xx

Hi,

I've been through similar experience, My surgery was back in June 16 I was diagnosed with endometriosis there was a mass amount on the lining of my womb and also in my bladder, they took as much of it away as they could. This was my second lap at 23 years old. I was also told I have a condition called Interstitial cystitis. This condition has the same symptoms as endometriosis but would also feel like I had an infection all the time and very painful. I have been suffering with endometriosis since I was 12 years old.

When I had my first surgery back when I was 18 years olds they informed me there wasn't anything wrong and didn't show any endometriosis which I knew couldn't have been the case as the pain was unbearable. I was bleeding for two months nonstop then off for a maximum of three days and bleeding constantly again. I went to three four different hospitals and saw four different specialists. after 12 years of daily GP appointments, monthly hospital appointments and 5 surgeries I was diagnosed.

Interstitial cystitis is very painful and hard to treat condition.

I had to change my diet and go for weekly bladder installations at my local hospital for 6 weeks. I am now going onto my second course of treatment I finished the first set in December 2016. It had helped for a few months. The pain is gradually getting worse now, I called the nurse and they booked me in straight away for my next course.

There isn't a cure for this and the doctors are now at the stage where they won't give me any antibiotics without the hospital saying I can take them, because there are no obvious signs of infection in the bladder and antibiotics don't help.

In my case with this condition, the bladder is inflamed, ulcerated, scarred.

I was told this condition comes along side some women with endometriosis but having read up on this it doesn't seem to be the case. it might be worth you asking your GP to check to see if you have this as thing you eat and drink can affect this and cause you a lot of pain all the time.

I hope this might help you.

:) :)

Thanks for reply I do actually think some things wrong with my bladder as when I had cytoscopy there was ulcer blister looking things on my bladder plus I can't hold nothing in my bladder without pain. The infection thing is actually infection it's my urine showing white cells protein blood and ketones. I'm feeling more and more rubbish each day my back is killing my glands are swollen and I feel very weak. One of my wounds look infected too. It's annoying because I got treated for this a few weeks back and now I'm back to square one the week my period is due. My docs don't have no appointments and won't give me nothing till my results come back as to which antibiotics to give me. Iv got a feeling ill be going hospital today I feel so I'll.

Thanks for your reply hun and sorry you've had to go through all this horrible stuff it's awful.

I'm under urology hopefully they'll get to the bottom of my problems soon

Xxx

No worries, I know it's annoying and stressful that the doctors can't help. I've gone straight to the hospital before and they have helped and given me the tablets I need. Then I've complained to the doctors surgery as they should be able to help you and give you an appointment even if it's via a phone call.

Ask them to check for the Interstitial cystitis as it might be that as well. My wounds god infected because of the stitches I needed to have them dressed each week.

Sorry that your going though so much and they won't help. Just go straight to the hospital and complain. They shouldn't leave you in pain to wait for results. Xx
