Hi,

I'm only 20 and I've been diagnosed with endometriosis, I'm on the waiting list to remove the nodules which are situated between my rectum and uterus. I was wondering if anyone has had this procedure done on this particular area as I'm concerned about the pain afterwards. Im feeling quite nervous as I have type I Von Willebrands disease which causes my blood not to clot and makes my endometriosis worse in terms of bleeding. I'm also terrified in case I won't be able to have children in the future. Any advice on what to do to prepare for surgery?

Thank you x

I'm having it done in the uk on the NHS, by a gyno consultant/surgeon and a bowel surgeon
