hello im hoping someone can help

i have had vaginal and bowel pain on and off for 5 years i was referred for a ct scan and they found a neurodenocrine tumour on my pancreas ( by accident) i had a pancreatectomy and splenectomy and oh joy the pain disapeared however a year ago it came back the horrible baring down feeling in my vagina bowel pain and nausea my doctor is now treating me for constipation and feel as though there is something else going on i have a constant dull ache in my pelvis radiating into my groin i cant walk very far it really affecting my quality of life and im not getting any information i just want to cry has anyone had anything like this .................................. thank you

Hi Kath. You need to go back to GP and tell them you need a referral to gynaecology, as it sounds like you could have endometriosis. If you have I would suggest you then ask to be referred to a specialist at a BSGE centre. You could try to get this referral first, but some doctors may not be too helpful in that respect. Good luck.

awww thank you so much i will make an appointment tomorrow i think you are the only person who doesent think im a total lunatic i have read lots of stuff about endometriosis and there are so many similarities ill let you know how i get on thanks again xxxx

You're not a lunatic. It took me nearly 30 years to get a diagnosis. So don't give up. I look forward to finding out how you get on. Take care.

Hi Jean just an update ive been to see my GP and she has referred me to to gynae however there is a wait of 8 weeks she has also referred me for a ct scan so its just a case of waiting now thanks again x
