Fed up :'(

After being in constant pain and off work for 3 weeks, I have found reading up on people's personal stories with endometriosis very comforting. I have never felt so alone and fed up. I have tried everything to feel better but just feel the same everyday. I wake up bloated, pelvic pain, lower back pain. All I've been doing is sleeping and even gong out for a walk is painful and exhausting. I feel like I'm getting no where. I've been to the doctors 4 times the past few weeks who can offer painkillers and another referral to the gynaecologist to have a laparoscopy. 8 years ago I had these symptoms and they diagnosed me with IBS when I was in hospital with the same pains. My periods were heavy and extremely painful, I have been on desorex pill and have no periods now. I am considering going private as I'm fed up of waiting and pointless trips to the doctors. I feel like I'm going mad. I just want to get my life back, get back to work and get back in control. I was coping well with all the symptoms on and off over the past years, but it's got to the point now where it's to much and I just don't know what to do.

Hi. I really feel for you. Im in the same boat. I can't take the pain anymore it's awful. I'm still waiting to find out exactly what is is. I don't have a diagnosis yet. Although they think it's endometriosis.

I went private in the end. Definitely recommend it. You can always be transfered back to NHS after. A consultation was £200. Plus any tests they do ie urine sample, bloods. Then you can go back to NHS after. I've been back and forth from doctors for a year and got no where. 1 day in private I had consultation, mri, bloods and urine sample. And they found the cause. They werent in a hurry to get me back out.

Good luck. X
