Merina and endo

Hi, I had a merina coil inserted just over 3 years ago during a bad surgery. Way after the surgery things seemed to be going well and have obly had very rare light spotting and some bouts of pain. Recently i have had heavier and more frequent bleeding and pain.

I have had similar problems before and usually they were signs the contraception wasn`t working and the endo was coming back full force. As I am travelling in Australia at the moment, I have doubts as to forget it and take it as a bad side effect or fear the inevitable return home for further possible surgery.

It may seem like an obvious answer but some advice would be greatly appreciated.
