Scared I may never have children

Hi ladies needing some advise from people who have been and are going through the same thing as talking to a doctor seems to be a waste of my time. I am soon approaching 23 years old I always thought I would have children by now it's something that is a must for me I want so bad I cnt Imagen a a life without it. I have been diagnosed with endo and PCOS for years now I have had 3 laps tried the pill now I have the coil. I currently do not ovulate I was told by one consultant if u want children have treatment now then another told me no that's not true. I feel ready as does my partner do u ladies think the sooner the better or it makes no diff

Good evening.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS in 1991, I was 20 years old. My gynaecologist recommended that I try for children as soon as possible after I completed a year long medical treatment (danazol).

I had laser surgery and ovarian drilling (for PCOS) and we conceived our first daughter. Three years later, with the help of fertility medication to induce ovulation, my son was born. Another three years went by..... and my second daughter was born.

I am really glad I took the advice of my gynaecologist and we had our children when we did. My husband and I did try for a fourth child from 2002-2007 but I couldn't conceive again.

My advice would be to try for a baby as soon as you can. And while you are still young.

Can you not frozen some of your eggs for the future? This is a good idea to look into.

Thank u do much Barbara this is very helpful I thought it makes sense whilst I'm young as my consultant told me it had already spread toy bladder n bowel it is likely to get worse. No one seems to understand my urgency but if I leave it too long I will have to be the one to deal with for the rest of my life thinking what if I haven't tried when I was younger thank u n I do not produce eggs ATM when I want children. They said I will have to go to a fertility clinic where I will undergo treatment to get me ovulating if this happens I will def ask them to freeze some however I do not hold much faith with the nhs it's all about money n in my experience they do not show much care or sympathy with people with endo and pcos
