Bladder issues

Does anyone else suffer with bladder problems? For last two weeks I have had constant bladder cramps and have been peeing a lot. I have a constant ache in my bladder. At night I'm awake every hour or so to go and am so tire from lack of sleep. I have had this before my first lap and now it seems to be back again. Feeling miserable.

Please use the search box and type in Ecoli.

Ecoli infection in endo ladies is very common indeed and manifests itself in urgency to go pee, more than it does in burning pee.

There have already been many posts on this topic this week alone so i won't repeat myself, but the key words to search for are

ecoli, biofilm and UTI.

most of us have an ecoli problem. we all probably have ecoli strains that are friendly bacteria in the gut anyway which we need for digestion, but a particular strain just loves us endo ladies by growing and staying in the bladder and needs a lot of work to shift it as it is now resistant to most drugs.

I'm the same! Had a dodgy bladder for years, had relief after my lap but its back even worse now, constantly need to pee, been counting its around 40 times a day. Need to go urgently too. My endo was stage 4 I had it everywhere including bladder, bowel, pod, ureters, had hydro in tubes and 18cm cyst. Had excision. I have now developed a prolapse I think its from straining to empty my bladder and I really struggle to pee sometimes. Waiting to see my surgeon again soon hopefully and a urologists x

My endo is on bladder but I'm told not treatable as its risky to laser near bladder but after every period I think I now get bladder infection possibly kidneys as having back ache too. Worried about long term damage and I too pee a lot!

Good luck xx

Hi, I share your pain, go to your gp and get a dip done in urine.. they will then send it to the lab if it shows anything and give you antibiotics.. I have reoccurring infections 8 since new year, and going to see a urologist as soon as I get my appt.. hope you are feeling okay xx

Just so fed up to be honest. Had two laps in last year to remove cysts. Awaiting fertility appt in two weeks time to try and have ivf. Just want to be able to do that and every ache and pain and debilitating symptom keeps rearing its head. You try your best to just get on with life but constantly find your self planning around this. Spent last hour planning my route for a 90min car journey which has most toilet options. Sometimes it's harder to be positive and cope when you are so tired and drained from the pain.

Thanks for all the messages. It's the support we all get from each other on here that makes you remember it's not just you suffering.

Yep bladder is annoying. Urgency and frequency to pee yet every time GP does test surprise surprise no infection. Always bad when period time. It's the endo Hun.

Yes i suffer with this too and nothing ever shows up on urine tests. I was told I had endo on my bladder too im persuming it's that or intersital cystitus but I don't want to have the procedure done at the moment to confirm this as kind I feel it's pointless as once again no cute for that either. I wish I knew what triggered mine of as do believe certain foods do eg lemons and grapefruit I can't seem to eat and spicy food def triggers the weeing of. Good luck and I hope you get things sorted soon x

I have come on my period today and whilst that's painful the crazy peeing has stopped. So it's either cycle related or food based. Going to keep a food and bladder diary and see if there is a pattern. I slept last night with a pillow under my legs so pelvis was elevated and only had to get up once rather than ten times. Feeling a bit better with some sleep.
