I've not long had lap to remove a cyst and have been told I have signs of endo. Apparently if I take the pill back to back for 3 months it would help. The thing is I'm a week in on my second pill packet yesterday u noticed while wiping myself after a wee there was blood clots on tissues. Last night was like a lump of egg whites like slimy n bloody..... Very worrying!!!

I'm trying to get in to my endo clinic but finding it difficult as nobody helps!! Has anyone experienced this????

Hi Bimbo82

I've had a very similar experience. I bled for the majority of last year. The only thing to stop this was Norethisterone and having the coil fitted. I used Norethisterone for 5 weeks, it stopped my bleeding after 4 days. Within a week of me stopping it I came back on for a further three weeks so took it again. I began to have side affects after a few days of taking it but I've found that this is enough to stop me for a few days. I was losing clots the size of 50p's, they looked like they should have a brain (sorry for the info but you may relate). Fingers crossed my bleeding has lessened, I still do but no where near as much and i've stopped losing clots. I believe its due to having the coil that the amount and length of time has lessened with the addition of northisterone when its become unbearable.

If bleeding continues, get yourself a blood test. Although I wasnt anaemic I did have a low platelet count which explained fatigue.

I'm not sure if this helps but know that irregular bleeding is a common endo symptom. Keep a diary of how often and the flow, and note the clots too. Take this to your gp/specialist to see if there is a pattern.

Good luck and all the best xx
