I have had endo patches in the areas where organs have been stuck with adhesions if that's similar??? Endo is sticky so makes sense that adhesions could be stuck on too.
My situation sounds similar to you, I had a lap last week for extensive treatment of endo, my surgeon was a tad optimistic and although he knew my bowel was stuck he was hoping it was just in one place and not too bad but once he got in there he found it stuck quite badly and in 2 places so im having another lap in 6 weeks time with my surgeon plus colorectal surgeon to sort it. A bit annoyed about having to have another lap, particularly as they knew before this one that my bowel was involved but I want it sorted asap. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the endo is just on the surface of the bowel xxx
I have suspected my right ovary has restuck to my bowel as I get a tight pinching feeling when I sit and when my bowel and bladder are even slightly full. Can't bear tight waistbands and hip and pain down my right leg to knee. Pain makes me feel sickly and exhausted. I have had numerous surgeries in the past for endo and adhesions and am now in menopause. Just wondered if you had similar symptoms where bowel was involved?
Thank you both for replying to my question. To answer Juleyanne i have basically suffered for 20 years with pain on
my right side, I too get pain when bowel or bladder is full. Also like you i seem to get a lot of pain in my right groin area down to my knee but only on right side. Now i know that the adhesion is located on this side so all makes sense really. I suppose having further surgery to remove the adhesion's is worth getting, i will try anything for this pain to go.
