Hi

I am 8 days after lap only diagnostic.

Since i had it done i have been ok , sore but ok.

I have been having trouble bladder wise, wee stings, bladder hurts, keep weeing myself but have no infection, been to dr.

I have been taking cystitis tablets and they have helped but is this all normal?

I have no endo that they found i have clotting problems so the bladder probs wouldnt b endo but is it normal to b in this much uncomfort 8 days after lap ?

I felt like that before the opp as well as needing to urinate frequently and getting a swollen tummy as day goes on. Bladder never feels empty and stings/pain when go.

They thought it was the 10 cm cyst pressing on my bladder, but 13 days post op to remove the cyst and its worse than before ! I am going to try the cystitis tablets and go to the doctors.

Hope it settles for you soon x

I have never had cystitis so i had no idea what was prob but i got the cystitis tablets and had a word with the pharmacist and she said laps can do this as they interfere with ur insides and bladders inflame.

I have been taking the sachets now for day and i can totally feel a difference my bladder feels less inflammed and i can wee without to much pain and i dont keep wetting meself

Lol!!

I had this for about 5 days after my first lap. Firstly drink lots of water. A pint an hour. It's possible to be something called interstitial cystitis that is associated with endo but not an infection

I found stopping using toiletries in that place, using sles free ones in general , taking antihistamines, using organic sanitary towels and wiping carefully front to back and manuka honey helped clear it

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/125...

Thanks for the info Starry. It does feel like cystitis, but they keep telling me that it isn't. I hope I don't have internal cystitis too, but reading the articles it's sounding likely 🙄

I hate this bloody illness 😫

Hope your feeling stronger today x

Glad you're feeling better lulububs x

Well to tell truth i have no idea what goin on with my body, cant make out if im just still bleeding and it getting heavier then mayb i should worry or it a period, i got a appointment with nurse monday to look at stitches so if i think it not period by then il ask her. Coz i usuallly take tranexamic acid when on but i dont know wether to take as i dont know if it a period. QUESTIONS QUESTIONS LOL!!

Glad to have been some help! I know how bloody painful that was... i took a extra sachet and it seems good.. if i feel abit of a sting come back il take another one but think ok. There great arent they? I was told to take by lady on endo uk facebook, there great help, u on there?

in reply toLulububs

Yes, asking the nurse sounds the best thing to do, glad you have the appointment on Monday.

No, I don't do face book, but I may do it for things like the Endo group !

I'm going to get extra sachets too ! Thanks again. This place is a god sent x
