What is this in my foot?

I went a walk the other day clearly wearing the wrong shoes because they kept rubbing.

I noticed my ankle was feel a bit sore and assumed it was a blister forming however noticed that I had a lump of hard skin so thought I’d get the foot file and scrape it off however after that I noticed that it was a odd green colour but wasn’t as painful just felt like a bruise so left it at that.

However I should my mum and she thought it was gangrene??!!!

I’ve had my feet checked at the diabetic clinic and all was fine.
