Feeling very sorry for myself, firstly I had a heart attack then told I'm type 2 diabetic followed up with a extreme case of sciatica which is painful beyond description. So I get told I will have to change my lifestyle ( yes doctor) and have exercise to reduce my risks of another attack, however due to the current climate here is a website to help you with all your experiencing just look and see how you get on. What happens next will I get told to take a couple of paracetamol and get back to them when I feel better, you guessed right that's the best they can do for me coz I've also developed an inflammed liver.

Is this what I've come too due to the current climate.

When was your last appointment with your doctor?

Did you get a list of what you can/can’t eat for liver issues?

Got a telephone consultation with dietitian on Tuesday afternoon, however I've changed a lot of what I used to eat. I cut out sugar, white flour only using wholemeal bread pasta etc and cut down on the booze as well. I'm just feeling bit sorry for myself and feeling a bit under the cosh at the mo coz I'm unable to get exercise and do as I'm advised

How about walking inside the house and do a few laps? Do you have any steps in the house? You can go up and down a few times a day.

The problem feels like catch 22, the pain can be excruciating and is relieved by laying down plus painkillers ( paracetamol) on a good day I can walk for about 10 minutes but get breathless and have to stop. I quit smoking after the HA, gave up sugar with being told about type 2 diabetes. I'm no quitter but it is painful and want break the cycle but am finding it harder to get of my backside and stay motivated.

I'm trying to keep going but am struggling.

Can you try to do 10 minutes of walking every few hours? You can always rest in between.😀👍🌈

Do you have home hand weights that you can use?

No but a tin of soup or something similar would do just as well I've heard, will give it a go.

That's a great idea! Do a few lifts of the soup cans 10 times each arm. This helps also if you have any rotator cuff muscle issues ( long story). :-)
