Hello everyone! I'm glad to let you all know that this was another fantastic week with the DEXCOM! The only time that there was an issue was when I was going to bed one night and the receiver thought I was out of range even though the entire system was right there with me. This was about two nights ago.

The new sensor had been put in this morning before leaving the house for work. It seemed to take a few minutes longer to be notified to calibrate the new sensor when I was at the center today. Not sure why this happens, but I never remembered to ask when a Rep. from DEXCOM called me today to ask about needing more sensors/transmitters. Will bring it up on March 21st if I don't have to call DEXCOM before that (the Rep. will call me again on the 21st for more supplies to be ordered).

The new sensor seems to be doing fairly well so far. I had a very low carb/high protein lunch today at work because we had a potluck luncheon for Black History Month. I had a salad with dressing, fresh fruit, chicken and small pieces of ribs. I totaled the carbs up and it came to 20 grams. Lots of protein, so that's good because I was still not hungry at 4 pm. I also had carry out food for dinner and the numbers seem to be going down slightly, but still not under 180. Will see what happens soon.

Keep on reading!

Nice you had a great week. My DEXCOM has been running well as long as we are on top of the new senors as you mentioned and supplies. They do a wonderful job.

Meals out are alway so difficult to calculate with hidden varibles mixed into the food. As had as I try when ordering they have to add something. My numbers are always higher, I have ended up shooting 1 unit higher just to cover that varible but at times I need more. The DEX is such a blessing we can watch the trend and adjust, unless during sleep which I must take care not to go to low at night before bed. I have to have a snack to maintain the 80-200 range setting. Have a great evening.

What do you usually have for bedtime snacks with your shots and using the DEXCOM? I usually have a 30 gram protein bar and when necessary, a Greek yogurt depending on my numbers on the Breeze2 when testing.

Depends on my numbers now with Keto and be low, and know my system. I will have a huge drop around 3:30 AM. Unless I cover myself like you a protien bar works well, dark chocolate some frozen blueberries in Lactose milk. I use the One Touch.

Pleased ! Having sensors are a weight OFF your mind. It is quite stressful thinking about your BG.

It’s great when everything happens the way you want them.😀

That is very good news and hoping you have a great week ahead. It is worrying when your support system develops faults during critical times. Best wishes.
