Well, there was a lot of stress during the week recently dealing with the DEXCOM system. On Thursday, I had to replace the old sensor and insert a new one at my job for the first time. This wasn't fun since I don't like replacing sensors at work or away from the house, in general.
Bien, había mucha tensión durante la semana que recientemente trata con el sistema DEXCOM. El jueves, tuve que sustituir el viejo sensor e insertar nuevo uno en mi trabajo por primera vez. Esto no era la diversión ya que no me gusta sustituir sensores en el trabajo o lejos de la casa, en general.
For most of the day on Thursday, the sensor and the DEXCOM system wouldn't report any blood sugars. The sensor kept going in and out. When the numbers did come back, they were extremely wrong and sometimes, I couldn't even calibrate because the arrows were either going straight up or straight down. When this happens, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSE TO CALIBRATE EVEN IF THE NUMBERS AREN'T CLOSE TOGETHER! For example, I got woken up at 3:30 am and saw that the number was 100 with two arrows straight down. I tested myself using my Breeze2 monitor and it turned out I was in the upper 300's! The number wasn't good, but at least I knew that the number for the DEXCOM was way off. I just couldn't change it to get it back on track.
Durante la mayor parte del día el jueves, el sensor y el sistema DEXCOM no relatarían ningún azúcar en la sangre. El sensor siguió entrando y. Cuando los números realmente volvieron, eran muy incorrectos y a veces, no podía calibrar hasta porque las flechas aumentaron seguir derecho o directamente abajo. ¡Cuando esto pasa, no ES SUPONEN PARA CALIBRAR AUN SI LOS NÚMEROS NO SON CERCA UNO DEL OTRO! Por ejemplo, me desperté a las 3:30 y vi que el número estaba 100 con dos flechas directamente abajo. ¡Me probé usando mi monitor de Breeze2 y resultó que estaba en el superior 300's! El número no estaba bien, pero al menos sabía que el número para el DEXCOM era el camino lejos. Sólo no lo podía cambiar para recuperarlo en la pista.
On the way home from my job, I called DEXCOM and told the Rep. who answered the call what had been going on and I had gotten a free sensor sent to me (it came today). There has to be a reason for why some of the sensors can handle working the entire week every hour like the should and why some don't make it. I haven't figured out the reasoning behind this, yet, but if I do, then I will let you all know.
En el camino a casa de mi trabajo, llamé DEXCOM y dije al Representante que contestó la llamada lo que había estado continuando y había enviado un sensor libre a mí (vino hoy). Tiene que haber una razón de por qué algunos sensores pueden manejar el funcionamiento de la semana entera cada hora como deber y por qué unos no lo hacen. No he entendido el razonamiento detrás de esto, aún, pero si hago, entonces dejaré a todos ustedes saber.
So far, the new sensor has been acting odd. Today, it already lost data here and there. I'm not holding my breath.
Hasta ahora, el nuevo sensor ha estado actuando raro. Hoy, ya perdió datos aquí y allí. No sostengo mi aliento.
