Well, another sensor went bad and didn't make it to the entire 7 days! I had to call DEXCOM after the entire 3 hours of no return of results and any alerts being reported this morning. That really got me upset since the old sensor that had been removed kept having issues for most of the days I was wearing it. I even mentioned this to the Rep. at DEXCOM's Technical Support and told them about the hour glass showing and the question marks, as well. I spent most of the day today with no readings being reported and I finally had the chance to calibrate after the new sensor was inserted! I've never gone that long without doing any calibrations in a day since I've started using the DEXCOM system. Wasn't too happy about that, either.
¡Bien, otro sensor se estropeó y no lo hizo hasta los 7 días enteros! Tuve que llamar DEXCOM después de las 3 horas enteras de ninguna vuelta de resultados y cualquier alarma relatada esta mañana. Esto realmente me consiguió trastorno ya que el viejo sensor que se había quitado siguió teniendo cuestiones durante la mayor parte de los días lo llevaba. Hasta mencioné esto al Representante en el Apoyo técnico del DEXCOM y les dije sobre la exposición de cristal de la hora y los signos de interrogación, también. ¡Gasté la mayor parte del día hoy sin lecturas relatadas y finalmente tenía la posibilidad de calibrar después de que el nuevo sensor se insertó! Nunca he ido que mucho tiempo sin hacer cualquier calibración en un día ya que he comenzado a usar el sistema DEXCOM. No estaba demasiado contento con esto, tampoco.
The only good thing that came out of this call were 2 things. First, after being put on hold for a while, someone did answer the call and was willing to give me a free, new sensor and have it to me in the next few days. The second good thing is, I have 2 other boxes coming from DEXCOM, so I will have 9 sensors on their way total. I'm hoping they will not be as bad as this last one I had called them about in the first place. Can't wait to see how this goes!
La única cosa buena que salió de esta llamada era 2 cosas. En primer lugar, ponerse sostiene un rato, alguien realmente contestó la llamada y quiso darme un sensor libre, nuevo y tenerla a mí en los próximos días. La segunda cosa buena es, tengo otras 2 cajas que vienen de DEXCOM, por tanto tendré 9 sensores en su camino total. Espero que no sean tan malos como este último sobre el cual los había llamado en primer lugar. ¡No puede esperar a ver cómo esto va!
