Latest blood report.

Hi all, I got my blood investigations done and report came yesterday. My Hba1c is 5.9 now!. From 16.4 in Jan'17 to 5.9 in jun'18 has been a long but interesting journey of trial and errors. I'm on LCHF diet and my total cholesterol also improved. Now it is 152.

Food is the new medicine!😊

avoid root veg for some more days and particularly WHEAT is most poisnous.

Wonderful! I am glad for you. Why don't you write your story in detail as to what you did during this period, so that it will be useful for many others. I am on a similar mission but only a month old, still long time to go.

Hi all, way to go is multi-pronged:

1. Alter food. LCHF diet is way to go. I started it abit too late though. I depended mainly on drastically cutting down on calorie intake from carbs as well as fats- bad idea since I lost almost 7kgs in just 2months and became extremely weak. LCHF is the diet for diabetics.

2. Develop a different meals time. I eat only two major meals, at 1030 and 1830. In between small odd low cal snack is all that I take. Contrary to small frequent meals this worked better for me.

3. De-stress. I do regular meditation and energy healing practices. I also do chakra meditation. Apart from bit of walks etc. Keeping good company helps too.

4. I spend time with essential oils. They are soothing, healing and for me they raise my happiness quotient as I dabble in them to create creams, blends, salves etc. Fun!

Basically spend your time in doing things you love doing.

5. Alkalise your body. Take ACV, Lemon in water, greens, broccoli, cauliflowers, cucumbers etc, aimed at alkalising your body.

6. Take supplements as n when needed. Apart from b-complex, vit-c, I'm also taking antioxidants like ALA, and herb milk thistle.

7. Mind your liver and gut health. If these two work well everything else works.

My aim is to bring my Hba1c down below 5.5 in next 4-5 months.

Can you please let us know what is your age and how long are you following up this diet? Since how long have you been suffering with high blood sugar?
