Your bs depends on your diet. Bs is not a static entity. It depends on many factors. Keep a watch on as to which diet increase your bs. Try to avoid them.

A1c is more important. Post your reports.

Good numbers. Don't worry about variations in readings. With further diet management towards low carb will improve your numbers.

Surmao thank you,

I am excercising daily .

Nobody in my family had diabetes.

I gained 35 kgs in last 9 months as I was on complete rest due to medical problems as per BMI

Now I am trying to reduce my weight .

Will reducing weight reduce my blood sugar and a1c reading.

As I can see on report that I am in prediabetic range.

The reports for anybody vary from time to time and the variation in result can be attributed to labs/glucometers/the food we consume and how it would react on your body. Nobody can prove this (who/which is right?). My observations is the results from the labs are little less than the Glucometer readings...Control your diet a little bit and increase your exercise to avoid any medication at this stage...

Don't fall prey to numbers . In medical industry they are made deceptive to make more prey for profit making . Its important how do you feel ignoring those numbers . Believe me, trust your feelings don't look at the numbers . Even the doctor prescribe (Specially Allopathy medicines) don't take at all if it has to continue lifelong . Because in the long run health gets worse to worst . Avoid processed carbohydrates at all cost, if necessary animal products including dairy also. You can eat all fruits (unprocessed). Even if they taste sweet, they are exception opposite to what doctors don't recommend . The major difference between the processed and unprocessed food are the enzymes . They don't burden pancreas for insulin.

Cells in the body get energy from fruits with less insulin by the help of enzymes. Remember fruits are from nature. The ratio of sugar content to the volume of fruits are magic numbers which is balanced very well.

1)"Don't fall prey to numbers . In medical industry they are made deceptive to make more prey for profit making". An unwarranted statement. Doesn't serve any purpose

2)"Even the doctor prescribe (Specially Allopathy medicines) don't take at all if it has to continue lifelong "

Yes. Doctors will do that but not for profit making. Their wrong training. .

3) "You can eat all fruits (unprocessed). Even if they taste sweet, they are exception opposite to what doctors don't recommend . The major difference between the processed and unprocessed food are the enzymes . They don't burden pancreas for insulin."

Once absorbed, glucose is delivered to the liver then to peripheral organs for utilization, and its entrance into muscle and fat cells is insulin dependent. Fructose is primarily delivered to and metabolized in the liver for energy and for two and three carbon precursor production without dependence on insulin. 56% of fructise is converted to glucose, upto 16% to glycogen and rest in tg. Causes nafld. So no unlimited fruits please. Citrus fruits better. Sweet fruits best avoided.

Fruits are candies made by nature which are better than man made sweets but a diabetic has to use his discretion with respect to the amount of fruits consumed keeping in view his health status and the type of fruit he is having .
