DAIRY PRODUCTS

Nature has provided all mammals with breast milk in order to feed the offspring of its species. Is it not therefore common sense that Cow’s milk is meant for the offspring of Cows and not for humans? If a grown up Cow was offered milk it would sniff it and say “No, thank you. I would rather have grass.” No animals drink milk once they are weaned. Humans on the other hand teach their young ones that once they are weaned, the Cow should take over. Have you ever seen a Zebra nursing a Giraffe, or a dog nursing a horse? But human beings are doing just that even though they drink milk from a glass. The chemical composition of cows milk is different from that of human milk. The enzymes Rennin and Lactase that digest milk are all but gone in humans by the age of three. There is 300% more Casein (a sticky substance) in Cows milk than in human milk. This is meant for the development of huge bones in cows which are large animals weighing 10 times more than humans. Casein coagulates in the human stomach and puts a tremendous burden on the body to dispel it, leaving behind a great deal of toxic mucus which is not only highly acidic, but which also increases ones weight. By the way Casein is the base for one of the strongest glues used in Woodworking. Dairy products have been found to contain dangerous amounts of Pencillin and other antibiotics due to the rampant practice of feeding cattle with these to speed up their growth. Another myth is that dairy products are a major source of Calcium to the body. First of all, Calcium in cow’s milk is much coarser than in human milk and is tied up with casein. This prevents calcium from being easily absorbed by the human body. You can get all the calcium you need by eating green leafy vegetables, fruits and dry nuts. And where do you think cows get their calcium from? (eating grass). Would you eat tobacco leaves just because of their high amino acid contents? Cow’s milk contains more harmful stuff than good. The irony is that calcium in the body is actually being used up to neutralize the acidic effects of the dairy products you eat. You may have heard experts say that dairy products are an important part of a healthy diet. And there are experts who would say the opposite. You make the choice. No matter in what form you are consuming dairy products, but when you do, you are virtually suckling a Cow. Does that make sense?

  • I have found material against use of milk by grown up human as early as 1995. Dr. Jane Plant attributes low incidence of cancer in China to a number of factors which includes nearly zero milk/dairy product consumption by adult Chinese and a culture of meals free of deserts (sugar free foods). Please explore janeplant.com [P.S: Without buying her book (products and cures) you will benefit from free material on her web pages]

  • New Hypotheses ,just see new invention of cranked person.

  • You have written well about cow's milk that we should not consume as good made it for the calf. Just a question, why does cow continue to lactate even after calf caongn chew grass.

I remember reading that Bapu Gandhi used to drink Goat milk. Was it not meant for her calf or was Bapu wrong.

I see a monkey eating Bananas. If Bananas were meant for monkeys alone?

    What about eggs?

How much milk does a calf need and how much does a child drink?

Lord Krishna used to love Butter. If Milk is bad then butter?

I will be happy if more follow you so kids can get the milk cheap.

  • There are contradictory views regarding use of dairy products. It is a part of our diet since eternity and our system is fully integrated to digest . It is true a very few are allergic to milk protein, but that is exception.

  • WHat eugiene has posted is one part of the problem. The other is how are cows treated today for large scale milk production and how is the milk treated once it comes out. Cows are given lot of hormones (esp oestrogen) so that their milk production goes up. Hence the milk that we drink today has high qty of oestrogen that is making us fat and diabetic. The cows are made repeatedly pregnant. Once milk is drawn it is treated with more chemicals, sugar etc . It is heated several times so a lot of nutrients are gone....Now if you are drinking this type of milk you will obviously be sick for the rest of your life !!
