Food intolerance advice needed
Lesser reactions to dairy (milk, Gouda cheese,
casein
). For some reason they only tested Gouda so I don’t know if this means other cheese might be okay. My current breakfast is cereal based and lunch is a sandwich (often cheese). This needs to change, but I am struggling to work out a plan.

Combined pill severely affecting mood
Hi there, I am trying to find a combined pill which doesn’t severely affect my mood - any advice? So far I’ve tried Yasmin and Millinette and both have led to low mood and severe anxiety. I only took Yasmin for a week and persevered with Millinet for 3/4 weeks. I’m hoping to run pills back to back

RLS and Dairy
The problem with cow dairy is that it contains a large amounts of a protein called
Casein
. Sheep and Goat dairy has very little, if any. Why this protein is a problem, is still a mystery. Check all food products. It is added to lots of boxed and canned food products.

My son was recently diagnosed with ADHD combined type. Recently joined this group for support.
I eliminated gluten and
casein
from my son's diet for over a month and I have noticed a slight improvement in his mood and his behavior charts at school. I also got a genetic test done for my son to see what medications his body would metabolise better that others in case he needs them.

First run after graduation
Yesterday, I had my first run after graduation. I left the house with coach Jes talking to me through the NRC app while setting off in the pouring rain. The coach talked much more than Yasmin Evans, but I do miss her already. However, the talking helped me focus more on what she was saying and less

Hydroxycarbamide
Hi Yasmin I started taking hydroxycarbamide just over 3 years ago after being diagnosed with essential Thrombocythemia. I started on 5 x500mg per week and now take 8x500mg as my platelets have gone up. I have been lucky with side effects and feel my worst issue has been nausea and fatigue. It has been

2 years post op for catamenial pneumothoraces and on Yasmin, getting pains again. Anyone else?
2 years ago my daughter experienced numerous spontaneous pneumothoraxes(at least 7 in a 4 month period, then 5 more while in hospital during a 3 week stay) at the very beginning of puberty aged 14. At 15 after a right side pleurectomy the pneumothoraxes stopped though the pains continued until she was

Do animal proteins cause an increase in alpha synuclein?
Is my belief that goat and sheep yogurt and cheese wrong so long as it doesn’t contain
casein
?
Casein
is definitely a common cause of inflammation but maybe for PWP pathology it’s even worse because the dairy contains alpha synuclein stimulating elements? I don’t know but I want to find out.

Hi, I’m really hoping someone can offer help/ experience of what to do when you cannot tolerate hormonal contraception as an endo treatment. I’ve had to give up on the idea of having any more children, we tried for a long time and nothing happened, even after I had endo treated in a laparoscopy. My

{Note that milk
casein
itself acts as a filter.} I stopped using paper filters years ago (but not before I was diagnosed.) There used to be warnings about metal coffee filters, since volatile coffee oils end up in the cup.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism back in 2010 & prescribed 100mg of Levo. I’ve felt subpar for at least 15yrs but I’ve never known what to attribute this to (low iron, depression/anxiety, working long hours etc.) My bloods have always been ‘normal’. At the end of 2020 I noticed I was suffering from
