Respected Sir/Madam,
I will be grateful to you forever if you help us to increase my father life under the following circumstances so that my father may live few more days with us:
My father is suffering from Diabetics since 1987. He was not taking insulin till 11.12.2013 when he was admitted at SSKM, Hospital, Kolkata under complications of T2DM, Hypertension, CKD, Diabetic retinopathy, (Uncontrolled) Dyselectrolytemia. Doctor immediately converted into insulin and stopped diabetics medicines as his kidney get affected on the very fast day of his admission i.e. 11.12.2013.
He was undergone cataract surgery on his right eyes in the year 2008 and in the year 2010 grid laser treatment happened with total 3 sittings in his both eyes. Thereafter doctor declared that the retina get affected due to diabetics so they are trying to maintain present condition and also trying to slowdown damages but subject to strict control of diabetics.
Now recently doctor declared his Kidney gets affected.
He has been under strict restriction of diets 1300 calories with total 2 liters of fluid in 24 hours.
Currently following treatment is going on:
1.Inj. Insulin BBF- R-6 units and N-13 units 30 minutes before breakfast.
2.Inj. Insulin BDF- R-3 units and N-4 units 30 minutes before dinner. (Kindly attached log books of Insulin administration sometimes increase and decrease as per sugar level).
3.Tab: Ecosprin AV(75/10) – Atrovastatin and Aspirin Capsules – 1 Tab in the evening (8.00 PM) (stopped todays onward due to fear of side effects).
4.Tab: Prazosin (2.5 mg) – Prazosin Hydrochloride Tablets – I Tab OD at bedtime (stopped from 12.01.2014 onwards as BP is uncontrolled and no change noticed. Hence to avoid adverse side effects stopped).
5.Cilakar 10 has been replaced by Cilacar T due to swelling and edema. Now Tab - Cilaker T continuing – 1 Tab in the morning. (Stopped on 14.01.2014 as T Cilacar T (Cilnidipine/Telmisartan) Telmisartan may increase the potassium and my father pulse rate is low always between 57 to 63).
6.Multivitamin - 1 Tab in after meal my father is taking after lunch.
7.Nephrologist prescribed IFA tabs (Iron and folic acid) – 2 tabs after meal.
N.B. We had tried Ayurveda medicine for a week prescription of the Ayurveda Dr’s attached herewith. Creatinine was increased in 4 days 1.3 to 1.97 along with other parameters also alarming. Hence we have stopped Ayurveda and continuing allopath guideline.
We are trying to give him best treatment to my father so that he make live few more days. Kindly help us to save my father life. I have attached herewith all reports and Doctors prescriptions I will be grateful forever if you peruse all these if possible to increase my father life.
I will be grateful if I have given an email id so that I can send all reports and doctor's prescriptions. May your kind perusal and advice can increase my father life.
