Here’s the company description:
"MicroVita® Focus provides 6 clinically proven probiotic strains, each with clinical support for maintaining proper dopamine and serotonin regulation as well as absorption of essential nutrients. Three prebiotics were included to nourish these specific probiotic strains.” They don't mention Parkinson's, so I assume "maintaining proper dopamine and serotonin regulation" is in non-PwPs.
The company ships within the continental US, only from Monday to Wednesday. See FAQ and Shop page.
I searched HU and don’t see any posts about MicroVita Focus but I do see an ADHD parent post about Fenix’s Accentrate with a few positive replies: healthunlocked.com/adhd-par....
The six strains in MicroVita Focus are:
• Lactobacillus plantarum (PS128)
• Lactobacillus paracasei (PS23HI)
• Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GG)
• Bifidobacterium bifidum (Rosell-71)
• Bifidobacterium longum (Longum-175)
• Lactobacillus helveticus (HA-122)
Lactobacillus plantarum is discussed in WinnieThePoo’s post: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
Bifidobacterium bifidum is part of Bolt_Upright’s stack: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...
Fenix’s list of MicroVita studies of probiotics: fenixhealthscience.com/refe.... I don’t see any with “Parkinson” in the title.
One thing that I wonder about is whether the different strains have the same effects separately that they do when taken together in a “probiotic formulation.”
