Hi Bolt you may have forgotten that I am on the Butyrate/Niacin combo.

I get Butyrex 600 from T E Neesby sourced through Amazon UK

I get Niacin sustained release 500 from Doctors Best

Not sure what you are paying for Methylene Blue but I buy the USP grade powder for about $20 a gram and mix with 100 ML of distilled water for a 1% solution.

Butyrate can be produced by your body itself and does not cost you anything. Your body van produce butyrate as beta hydroxybutyrate (BHB) twhen you eat ketogenic and /or fasting and /or use MCT oil

I don’t know but you can choose to boost your ketone level by eating more or less ketogenic, more or less fasting, more or less MCT oil. Ketosis is also good for PwP because it stimulates autophagy. For me, stimulating butyrate had no effect whatsoever.

Isn't mannitol converted to butyrate in the intestines? Seems that this would be a cheaper way to produce butyrate.
