An update on MRI

Hi guys I have finally had my small bowel MRI results in and have been diagnosed with Crohn’s there was a small patch of inflammation and narrowing so I finally have my answer after being ill for so long!

Don’t give up if you have a clear colonoscopy as there are other ways to find the inflammation!

I’m being put on prednisone and Azathioprine.

Thanks for sharing I’ve had a clear colonoscopy but specialist going down another route as he thinks I have a rectocele but I’m not convinced. Can I ask what your symptoms are please? Mine is incomplete evacuation. Thanks!

My main symptoms are on and off again vomiting and Diarrhea (I don’t get it every day just every few weeks an episode will occur for a week or so then disappear) and awful stomach pains above my belly button and right hand side of abdomen.

My eyes also used to get a bit blood shot as well when I became ill with a few rashes on my arm!

I have had stomach issues for years and only just been diagnosed unfortunately can be a really long drawn out process. Hope you get some answers soon!

That’s good you got a diagnosis and know what you are dealing with. What were your symptoms?

Hey my symptoms mainly are vomiting, Diarrhea and stomach pains.

I’ve had stomach issues for at least 10 years so glad to finally have an answer and medication! X
