Breathing was difficult due to the remains of my bad chest, but determination kept me going, and despite really wanting to stop during my first 3-minute run, I kept going right to the end.
I'm really hoping that things will be easier once I can breathe properly again!

Well done!! Pushing on when you really feel like stopping is how you build your fitness level. This run hurt, but the ones still to come will be a bit easier for it!!
Laura says pain is good, (the old idea of "no pain, no gain" and "go for the burn"), but you know your body best, so go at your own speed. If that means extra time off, so be it.
Having said that, congratulations on your progress and determination to date. I'm sure the aerobic exercise is doing you the world of good.
