Easily done, just chill next time and keep saying to yourself to take it slowly and steadily...

You did it though. No one said it's going to be easy but what in life that's worthwhile is? Make sure you take at least 1 day rest between your runs and just go slow and steady and you'll be fine. 😊

The commonest mistake that new runners make (I admit to it) is thinking that to develop their running body they have to run fast......you don't.

As a new runner, slow running will develop your stamina more efficiently than running fast. The speed will come later, so go as slow as you need to, to enable easy breathing. You should be able to hold a conversation as you run, not just splutter the odd breathless word.

Well done on getting through but stop struggling and enjoy the journey.
