Really struggled today, a hard run, wanted to stop but didn’t. It was very hot and my mouth was so dry, really unpleasant.
Got lots of stress and upset going on at home and it was just a real slog, worried about run 3 on Friday 😞😞😞

You have completed run 2 and I felt run 3 was the easiest of the week, just start slow and let it come to you, longer runs I find are just what I need to clear my head of all the bad stuff too.
We are all still attuned to winter! Keep hydrated in the day(s) before your next run and it will probably be just fine. Week 6 is a big “push” week in terms of building stamina but it will all be worth it! 😄 Invoke your inner snail or turtle and soldier on. You may well be surprised. 👏🏼
Some runs are harder than others. If your’re not feeling it or your head’s not in the right place it can be a struggle. But you overcome all that and completed. So be proud of yourself for that! Don’t dread, look forward to the next one and you will breeze it!

Amazing how the things in your head get in the way of your legs, isn’t it ?!! Keep up those fluids and take it slow and steady. If you can, focus your mind on what is round about you, just for the length of the run - give your head a holiday ! All the best with it - we know you can do it x
