Well, you've already managed 20 mins, so just another 5 mins on to that.

Take it slowly, and if you can change your route to give you a different view while running the time will fly by.

Betty Jane's advice is very good so what are you waiting for??! Get out there, be positive and go run that 25 mins into the ground!!! :D

If, like me, you found runs 1 and 2 in week 6 harder than expected after managing the 20 minutes of week 5 run 3, then you may well be pleasantly surprised by the slightly longer run ahead of you. I certainly found it a lot easier than anticipated, though I did treat it with respect and start off slower than I had done on previous runs. It's not so bad. Promise! :-)

Iiii dddiiieeedddddd!!!! Ok i am feeling melodramatic.... I am alive... But I am a bright pink heap! I walked for twenty seconds half way through, then continued to the end, and sped up for the last five mins to make up for the twenty second walk.... And all in all, I am astounded at the progress really compared to week one and finding that first minute a challenge.... X

Well done! We all keep saying it, but it really is a case of being "mental"! Mentally prepared that is... :-)

Don't overthink it. I did it (sceptically) last night and it was actually not that bad. I even felt like I could have kept going at the end BUT I was probably 'running' slower than anyone ever has before to make sure I made it to the 25 min mark. Good luck and keep it as slow as you need. We can all work on speed later :-)

Well done to you too! :-)

ha ha - missed your update. Congratulations!! :-) "You can now call yourself a runner" as Laura would say.

Well done both of you. Amazing progress when you look back to week 1!

Now, were you running slow enough to be overtaken by a dog walker? That's how slow I was running in week 9, but, it got me there. And I am still running, two months later - and a wee bit faster sometimes too. Slow is cool! 8-)
