I DID IT. I DID IT. I DID IT. Woooo hooooo I did it. I had serious doubts I would complete todays run, but complete it I did. I must admit I did have the little gremlins whispering in my ear, but I paid no attention them, I flicked them off into the road. When laura said I had 5 minutes left, I thought "I can do this, I really can". And I really did. Admittedly when she said I had done it, I had a bit of a cry. LOL I am so proud of myself.

Well done!!! I remember that feeling, and it's AMAZING!!
In my personal experience, this was easily the hardest ryun of the whole programme - if I'd known what was coming I'd have bottled out for sure (I made a pointo f not reading or listening ahead on the programme).
You've definilely broken the back of it now! Your nice shiny graduate badge is just around the corner Onwards and upwards, and WELL DONE!!!
Thank so much. I did try so hard not too look forward but I kept catching posts with how long the runs are. Nearly had kittens when I found out I had to run for 20 minutes, and I'm still finding it hard to actually believe that I did it. LOL I am really looking forward to week 6. People must be sick to death of me by now, all I talk about is running. LOL It really is so addictive.
LOL! I remember when I heard that I had to run for 20 minutes, I checked my phone to make sure I was listening to the right podcast and they hadn't got mixed up somehow. I then had to rewind to the beginning to make sure that Laura did actually say 'Week 5' at the beginning.
I know about the boring people thing as well. I do that too. But so far I've inspired 2 others to take up the programme, and they've each inspired a couple more. That has to be a good thing!!
Well done you! Yes, you've broken the back of this now. Keep up the very positive attitude, it's great!
I've had several little tears throughout this, (both in joy, exhaustion and all sorts of other emotions too) - even in week 1, so don't worry about that, I'm sure there will be more!
Well done for doing the run i am on week 5 second run tonight so sunday is my big day and i must admit 20 mins seems sooooo long but i must admit reading these blogs really does spur me to run and does help you to have self belief in yourself good luck with week 6 x
I really doubted myself before I went out today, but I just took it slow and listen to what Laura was telling me and it worked. Just go out there and do it, it's what you have been working towards.
Just go at the pace that is comfortable for you no matter how slow. I think the 20 minute run is more mental than physical. You keep telling yourself you can do it, and before you know it you will have.
