Well W5R3 is done and it went great I felt really good while running......my usual slow but steady, but I got there and still ran for another 3 minutes because I was almost home. I think people must have known it was a biggy today as I had three different people who I don't know give me the thumbs up.... some people are so nice it really gave me a boost.
The other success of the day is that I have finally lost 40kgs (6 stone 4lbs). Started dancing around the bathroom naked this morning (what a sight), and my husband thought I'd lost it, but I was so thrilled. This is another reason why the running is going so well, onto W6 and my next 10lbs off

Hey Greenlegs....it's been a great day all round I have asked about joining 5x50 from Belgium and it is no problem so I think I'm going to join up.... So happy I've finally made the decision. They asked if I could get a team up from here, but I think it is too short notice for this year but definately for next year look forward to reading your progress.....btw thanks for all your support <3 <3
Fantastic day of achievements for you, very well done! Well done on signing up for the challenge too; you have joined our team haven't you? There are 30 of us now! Enjoy week 6!
Yes I joined the C25K team. I will order my t-shirt, but it has to go to my sister in England as they don't post to Belgium. I'm looking forward to doing it
Wow! well done on your run but huge congrats on your weight loss - I was pleased to hit 25lbs off this week! Are you following any specific plan? I an on weightwatchers online as I work shifts.
Poppy that is a fantastic amount of weight, well done I have struggled with my weight for many many years (30 years) and tried all the diet plans out there.....to no avail. Finally last year in September I had a gastric bypass operation. It isn't a quick fix solution. You still have to eat healthy and exercise, but the benefit is that you lose weight quickly and you should keep it off......it is for life. Since the op I've feel that I have my life back and can now do all the things I wanted to do but was unable to do because of my weight. I think the weight watchers plan is one of the best plans out there for people who are not morbidly obese, so keep going and keep exercising
Massive congratulations Rockchick, firstly on your run (hopefully I will be able to say the same next Saturday when I complete week 5 Run 3) and secondly on your weight loss that's incredible, I know how hard it is to lose weight.
I am a little surprised I haven't lost any weight since running, I have lost 4 inches, 2 from waist, 1 from belly area and half an inch from each thigh, so pleased with that, maybe I still eat too much!!!!!!
