10k Training Update

I did two runs on the treadmill this week, the second one I used a programme on the treadmill which involved a lot of running on an incline. At the end I could feel my shins were really sore, and I think it was the incline.

This morning I went over to Sweatshop and changed the trainer I bought 2 weeks ago. I have really tried to love my Adidas adizero Adios 2's but they were really rough inside and chaffed my feet, I tried thin socks, thick socks, plasters on my toes - but finally decided for £85 they should fit properly and I would take them back. I replaced them with a pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 16's which are a corally/pink colour and lime green. I have taken them for a little 5k run and I love them !!!! They were £15 more than the one's I returned but I forgot to take my Parkrun barcode in the first time to get my discount off, so I asked if I could use it this time and they said yes so only paid an extra £5.

Sunday, I will take them out for a 10k run.
