'Rest day' Cross training

Still coming to terms with the concept of rest days that leave me more tired than my active dsys. Taking the opportunity to use some different equipment in the hotel gym, rowing machine (2k), bike (10k) and then walked on the treadmill for 3k but with a 5% incline. Be glad to get back to a run tomorrow.

Most of us do exercise on rest days..stamina and core strength...daily regimes too😊

You're fully converted......!!!!😃

I think you're doing all the right things.....mixing if up, trying new things keeping it interesting.

I would imagine the tiredness is more related to how much u do on your rest days......perhaps go a little easy on yourself?

Madness :-)

Were those machines liberated from the former Soviet Union? And who's that handsome cove with the camera phone?

I think they may have been and the guy with the camera phone seems to follow me wherever I go 🤔

I seem to have lost my mojo when it comes to rest days. I started off going to the gym or doing the NHS strength & flex podcasts but since W3 of C25K, I just totally flop back on the couch and do nothing on the rest days. Maybe when the kids are out of the way back at school next week I might get back in to it. No. Not might. WILL! 😂

I think Steve is inspired by the bloke who follows him around with the camera :-)

He must have had a day off on Friday, I didn't do a thing (other than work a 13 hour day)

When you are stuck in a hotel in India on your own at the weekend, it's less mojo and more a way of killing a bit of time

One man's poison is another man's nectar........

My challenge is to find the time to squeeze running into my hectic schedule.......don't have a luxury of time between school runs, work commutes, after school clubs chauffeuring and house chores!!😉

Keep at it.....you're doing great!👍
