Sunshine!!! on a clow dee d'hay! Glorious out and about today. It was easier for me but harder for my little old girl. I had to carry her for about half a mile. The Banshee on a String was a little better behaved. She only threatened to eviscerate 2 of the dogs we met.
I am feeling so much better and am full of confidence. I'm a little worried that I'm going to blow myself out of the water and when the Run Day Cometh (17 days time) its going to kill me and I'll give up.
I'll let you in on a secret... I've lost 5lbs! So the 5:2 diet does seem to have an effect.

Not sure I'd want to meet the Banshee on a String!
(You could always start with some 20 or 30 seconds runlets a few days before, to see how they feel - or plan to just do four of the minute runs instead of all of them, if you're really bothered by it - ie, find a way to sneak yourself into them!)
Laughed when I saw your logon "fatand fifty" - described me exactly! Started C25K a couple of weeks ago, but have been held up by snow and holidays. Will be back on track next week and it helps reading these comments to know that there are so many others out there just like me!
