Been a wee bit quiet...Still plodding on tho... Stan still telling me I can't do it and the forum advice ringing in my ears... "Slowly does it" and " Trust in the Programme"

Week 5 run 1, not too bad. 5 minute blocks x 3... Done 5 mins before so told myself I can do this... And although flagging a bit at the end, I did it...

Tonight run 2. Surely I couldn't manage 8 minutes?....Twice? Well I did...Not sure how but I did...So Stan working on run 3 now. Surely I can't manage run 3.. seems a big jump.. I'll give it a go... Head high, music on one foot in front of the other...Nice and slow...Keep going don't stop. See you at the weekend StanleyπŸ˜ˆπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

Hiya MotherPip ! Well you're going great guns with StanleyπŸ˜‚ Fab week5 run2 by the sound of it. You've certainly got Stanley's measure. Have to admit by the end of that second 8 minutes, I felt like my lungs had fallen out and I was dragging them round behind me!

Good luck with number 3. You're completely able to do it (and Stanley knows it) 😊😊😊

I was certainly flagging...Definitely need the music and instructions in my ears. Don't think I could have the discipline to do it otherwise

Yes, I remember that W5R3 seemed a big jump from R2! Quite a shock when I saw it. But, I did it and so can you despite what Stanley is telling you! Let us know how it goes πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘

MotherPip well done, you're doing great, and although W5R3 looks scary it's definitely a case of mind over matter. You've been following the programme so you're physically ready for it, just make sure you tell Stan that you can do it and you'll be fine. πŸ‘πŸ½

I hope so

Ignore Stanley.. tell him you won't see him at the weekend.. or stand him up and go another way. You don't need his company any more..:)

You are doing fine... slow and steady and focus on how far you have come..not how far to go.

Stanley can get lost... :) x

Well done you! You can absolutely do that number 3! Believe in yourself, believe in the programme but don't believe a damn word that Stan says! You've managed bigger jumps in the programme before (the increase of running time from W3 to W4 was bigger) so slow and steady and you'll be fine! Let us all know how you get on! :)

Stan's just desperate for you not to do it so he doesn't have to run round with you! Don't let him win ;) If you've done runs 1&2, you're all set for run 3 :)

Still not tried it... Maybe tonight in the rain when the wind has dropped.
