This running thing is never straightforward is it?
I started C25K in April, became ill after a few weeks, managed to pick it back up at about week 3 and graduated in July. Became ill again in September, lost fitness and lost motivation so did the whole thing again and re-graduated in January.
So here we are at the end of January. What with missing regular runs due to Xmas, New Year, snow, ice etc I was feeling good about regaining the ability to run 30 minutes and now I have a cold. A 'below the neck, chesty' cold. So I am going to be out for at least a fortnight.
I know lots of folk get injured. I read plenty on here about knee problems, achilles pain, plantar fasci - wotsit, coughs, colds and migraines and worse. So I'm not really complaining - just a little frustrated!
