I am ill again weak, headaches, and muscle aches... All the glory of illness.
I reached W7R1 (again) and now again I have a break. I am sooo tired of being ill, injured (my neck is still stiff and painful during some moves, bit it is getting better).
Next week holidays in Madeira I thought I will be on week 9 by then (if not graduated), but it's not what worries me. I hope I'll get better by then. It's already 2nd week I feel crappy.
I taking care of myself, I am taking meds, I am using natural food meds, I am going out for short walks with my dog (so fresh air and vit D supplementaion in place as well).
Winter is coming! - said my lack of immune system. - Welcome autumn!
Everyone who can, please run for me, run as I cannot. Enjoy autumn sun on yoir face, cold breeze, colourful trees as they start to change their summer outfit for some carnival dresses. Enjoy even your wet shoes as you go through muddy paths, running through water drops falling from the sky and cooling down your warm skin (or as usually is mine: hot and sweaty skin). Enjoy!

I may go for a short run one day this week, just to re-fresh my brain and give my organism some oxygen boost with some sweat treatment. But I need to wait until I won't be so weak.
Oh bless you! I hope that you get better soon and that the sunshine helps speed that up for you. Maybe a complete rest will help. I will run for you and soak it all up, my feet are always wet as my trainers seem to be 'breathable'! You've done SO well to get to Week 7 twice. It will happen for you and when it does, it'll be all the more wonderful. Plus you'll be a whizz by then! Wish you better.
Thank you I know it will happen one day. I'm just tired of those breaks and pauses in the programme that makes me repeat the same weeks again and again.
It must be so frustrating for you but I can tell just from your post that you are not a quitter. You will be stronger physically and mentally when you do get there, having got through the lows. And we will all be cheering you on, in awe of what you've achieved! Have a lovely relaxing holiday, give yourself a good rest to recuperate. Your trainers will be waiting for you when you get back
It's so not a straight path this running path! Here's a grritty grrr - and a promise to take you and your (temporarily) frustrated determination with me on my next run. I need some of your grrrit! Rest sounds sane and Madeira has lovely walks.
Thank you It's always nice to run with somebody. It is the closest to running I can get for now.
Thanks to nice sunny part of a day, I went for a nice walk with my dog that was longer than 10 min Hopefully vitamin D will help my immune system as well
Iga sorry I haven't seen this, I have been 'guest-bound' for 5 days with 10 visiting cyclists and am just catching up. You poor thing, can we get germs banned for a while in Oxfordshire? Hopefully Madeira will be warmer and get you back to full strength.
