I went for W2R2 the other night, slipped on ice and fell on my forehead. Managed to get home again but was concussed and have the worst shiner ever.........
I am no longer complacent about bad weather and dont plan on running alone again either!

Oh dear, sounds painful . That was bad luck. Hope you feel better soon.
When I went out yesterday morning the pavements were still very dodgy. Only took a few strides and started slipping so put my Yaktrax's on. Can't recommend these enough (and no I don't work for the company). All the other runners had to run in the road except me. Hope you feel better soon.
Ouch! We had to abandon a run a couple of days ago, just felt too unsafe underfoot. Can't wait for the snow and ice to go now!
Ouch! You take care!
I ran in the snow with my spikey grippy things last Saturday and Monday, but Thursday and today played on the treadmill as there's not enough snow for them but too much for without them. As Morningglory says, can't recommend them enough.
