Thanks all for your incredibly supportive comments on my last post. I just did W5R2 again but without the 1% incline as suggested by John_W (who seems well qualified to comment π), and it was so much better. I do have weak lungs so maybe thatβs always going to cause me problems. I realised too that there was a lot of mental blockage going on and I am getting that out of the way, hopefully. So, feeling good today and giving myself credit for doing this when Iβm so overweight and was so unfit before starting. π

Great job... the lungs will strengthen just like the rest of you. Give yourself lots of credit, youβve done all the hard work.

I see yesterday you posted that you now walk significantly faster than you did in week 1. So even without adding in the extra running your body is working harder.
So maybe it's not weak lungs just you are pushing yourself more each time?
Have fun finishing week 5 and head on out to wk6 it will love to see you x
