My neighbours must think I lost it earlier as I cheered very loudly having completed my first 10K. 1:28:26 under the one hour 30 I had wanted. So one very happy runner
I started running mid August and graduated in October and have been slowly increasing my distance and took on the advice from graduates to do 3 runs - 1 long, 1 speed and 1 stamina each week.
I feel a new person, much healthier and gradually losing the weight more to go !!.
So now my goal to finish the 10K race for life in May seems achievable. Work to do on 5K to get PB down , currently 39:45 but it will happen
So to everyone good luck on all you runs x
You can achieve

Oh well done that's fantastic I'm working towards 10k, currently at 6 doing the speed podcast and also a Parkrun once a week. I can only imagine how thrilled you are
Thank you it's taken time . The weather has t helped as I haven't ever run in the ice December was a wash out. Hopefully we can both now get some good runs in
Very well done!!!!! We started and graduated at the same time. I am currently doing a 10K program with hubby and we are 1 run away from week 4 of a 6 week program. You should be very proud of yourself for all you've achieved! Your time sounds great! Gayle
Superb and Congratulations, Catherine!! As Gayle mentioned, we are struggling through our 10K training as we speak!! You have so very much to be proud of!! Just look at how far you have come since August!!! Absolutely remarkable!!
