Did first run of Week 3 on Monday but for a couple of reasons didnt do second run until 30 mins ago! I did it but found it really hard. Nearly stopped before the end of the second three minutes but just managed to keep going. Glad I did but really worried about the next run and week 4 . In between the runs I have done 3 hours of Zumba so I dont think it was the gap In between that was the problem. The snow had pretty much cleared from my route but the winds were icy ..........I so hope I can do this .......I really want to get to the end of te 9 weeks and be running for 30 minutes

Don't be so hard on yourself! You may have found it hard but you didn't give up, you still completed it. Well done! If you're finding it tough though it might be worth thinking about doing an extra week 3 run before moving onto week 4. See how you feel after your next run.
Cold winds don't help, I think - it takes longer for muscles to warm up. Don't hope you can do this - believe it! Even if it takes a wee bit longer, you will get there if you've got this far - starting is the hardest bit, pretty much.
I have good runs and bad runs...on wednesday I did run 1 of wk6 and found it hard...I've just done run 2 and although it wasn't easy it wasn't as bad as run 1, I do just think sometimes you go out and struggle, and then other times you feel unstoppable!
I found my found today hard and slower than a similar one on Thursday. I had to fight the urge to stop several times but managed to complete it in the end. I am more fortunate than others as there is no snow here but it was very cold, which may be a factor with the slower pace. Well done to you for also getting through to a successful end.
You are doing brilliantly! I did weeks 1 to 7 indoors on a gym treadmill, so you have my admiration, it is tough running in such cold and icy conditions! If I can do this (I was 50 and hadnt run for 30 plus years!) then you can DEFINITELY do it!
