I can't believe I'm writing this but I have completed the 9 weeks of C25K. It seems to have gone in quickly,
Today's run was quite slow. So slow in fact that when Laura said "you have 5 minutes left slow down if you need to". I was thinking that if I went any slower I would have come to a standstill.
I think I should have waited till Monday but I had set myself the target of finishing this week. Went out feeling really tired. Actually, been feeling tired all day. Church cleaning this morning seemed to take it out of me. Also I have put on 3 pounds in weight this week. And as it was little ones 2nd birthday I kind of over did it at the birthday BBQ. But nevertheless I have made it to the end.
Next week, same route but in reverse which will be a challenge as all the inclines will also be reversed. Should be interesting.
Well done to all those who have finished this week, especially to those who finished today.

Huge congratulations! I finished today too and also went more slowly than normal. I think it was because of that thing called 'heat' that we're all so unfamiliar with.
Well done to you and, like you said, to everyone else graduating over the coming week.
Oh very well done, Birdie74! And to you too, LandRoverMad. I have one run to go, having had a few days off for various reasons. I'll expect to see your shiny badges very soon - many congratulations to you both.
Amazingly wonderful news! Well done you and a great big welcome to the 'grad club'
Now put your feet up (for at least a day ... LOL) and celebrate your success! Weight gain, by the way, may not be entirely down to one BBQ and some birthday cake! It's more likely to be lovely new toned muscle taking the place of body fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, but I bet you look slimmer!
Lots of luck with your post-grad plans, the first few sound interesting!
Congratulations, wear the shiny new badge with pride and a big smile. Cheers, Linda x
