Well I completed this morning. Over the past few weeks I've been following things on the form. I've replied to several posts but haven't started any. I just wanted to say what a positive and encouraging forum this is.
We are a very diverse bunch of all shapes, sizes and ages. I've not done any running since I was forced to do cross country over 40 years ago. In week 9 by some miracle I've been running 5.3 km for each of the 30 min sessions.
Not sure if anyone needs my advice but if I was to start over again I'd:
* make sure I always followed the forum to keep encouraged and motivated
* follow the plan strictly, it works
* use the right shoes
* choose run time carefully. I started out in the early evening after having eaten and quickly realised this wasn't a good idea. I switched to first thing before breakfast and it worked well
* use Airpod hooks (I use AHASTYLE) so Airpods don't fall out
Now for consolidation runs...
