I am so chuffed that I have finally completed the C25K challenge, Iβm a little off running the 5k in 30 minutes yet but Iβm not far off (4.3k)
I started it as a challenge to myself, and although I wasnβt a complete couch potato, I am 57 and had generally kept myself fit over the last few years with Swimming and Zumba, I havenβt done any sort of long distance running in my life.
I am absolutely certain if I carry on running it will help control my Type 2 Diabetes, and although not hugely overweight, I have lost 10lbs during these last few weeks.
This is my first post on here but I have been inspired and encouraged by all the posts I have read. Now to try and keep the momentum going π
