Right, well I've left work to look after my daughter full time and to begin an exciting career working freelance. All new beginnings. I also have a bit more time (not much which is a surprise) to get fit and healthy. I really want to do this and have started the c25k again.
I was surprised that it didn't take that long to get back into the swing of things again and I'm now on week 3. I'm scared but running outside on the street is more fun and a bigger challenge than running at the gym. Its also free so I have NO excuse.
I'm really looking forward to being able to run further and faster - this is my biggest motivation. I would love to say to my OH 'right, I'm just going out for a quick 5k run'.
That would be amazing

That sounds like a fab target. What a great thing to be able to say!
Well done for coming back to c25k. I started before then went away from it for various reasons. I re-started this summer and made it wk8. I have been ill for two weeks but ran again today, not wanting to drop out of the habit.
Like you I want to get fit and healthy, and set a good example to my daughter too. I love the freedom of running outside. Once I got over the self-conscious bit of course, I keep running now even when people can see me. lol. And running outside is free and can fit in around whatever small part of your day you find to yourself.
Congratulations on your exciting life changes. Keep warm, visible, and keep running!
