Second time around...

First did C25k about 4 years ago. Completed, joined local running club and regularly ran 5k. My goal was to be fit by 60, which I achieved, losing about 3 stone in weight. Last year developed a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma which affected my bones. Hospitalised for 6 months while having chemo, unable move much let alone get out of bed for 3 months. Now a year on from learning to walk again, and thanks to the skill of medical staff, support of family and friends, and the grace of God, have the all clear to start running again.

Week 1 run 1 today (easier than the first time round despite everything). Onwards and upwards!

Gosh what a story of survival and determination. Good luck with your new running life, I am so glad you found your first run easier than first time around! It seems the least that could happen to make up for such a tough year. Good luck and happy running

Go for it!

Don't compare performance with last time........you are where are.....and a bit older.

You know the drill, so follow the plan and enjoy the journey.

You know you can do it!
