Since running my 7K last week i've taken things a bit easier and be doing slow 5K runs. This morning I tried again for 7K and managed it, also knocked 1 minute off the time so did 48.09. I'm really pleased with the result.
I'm off on holiday on Wednesday to my home in Shropshire but will be taking my running gear, well I can't afford not to keep going now.
Hope everyone is doing well with the programme, good luck to you, its not easy to begin with but your body does get used to it, I promise.

Well done ! Running in your home town will probably be a bit special. I did one of my C25K runs in the field behind my old school in Taunton - it was one of the longer runs and I had to smile, remembering how I used to stroll around the "cross country"route with my friends !
When I go through to Oswestry I'm hoping to be able to get a run early on the Sunday morning and just run through all the old haunts of my childhood days. I have no idea how far the run will be (if I manage to escape) but I would think it will be nearer 10K than 5K. Oooh I am so looking forward to seeing my family again and showing off my lovely little granddaughter who I'm taking with me for the visit. The only problem I may have is the heat cos its about 10 degrees hotter than Aberdeen.
