I know I am pretty new to this - so it's a bit early to start with the thanking - but I could not do this without this site and all of you.
I have a bit of a habit of giving up when it comes to exercise (hence being overweight) - and after week one was so hard, I never thought I could do a week two run. But after reading everyone's comments and knowing everyone was in the same boat - I did it. Thinking of you guys the whole time. (Although, it's still hurts!
And am I the only one who talks to Laura the whole time?! haha.

I'm always talking to Laura too, lol. Quite often when she asks me if I'm ready! This site really is great for encouraging you. Doubts get swept away when you read that someone has already been in your exact position and succeeded. I wasn't sure about moving from week 2 to week 3, but I got lots of positive encouragment, took the pulnge, and I did it! It's a great feeling, which you then want to share with all the people that helped you get there. Exercising and dieting can be such a lonely and discouraging experience, but not with c25k. Best of luck for your next run. Before you know it you will be a runner!
As many have learned, getting off the couch and starting isn't the hard part....keeping going, when the going gets TOUGH, that's the hard part. Having others who know exactly what you're going through, who'll encourage you when you're having a rough time and cheer you on when you're having a good time, is wonderful! We're all in this together!
