Just got back from a nice run to finish the week and really feel proud of the progress so far.
I tend to do early mornings for my runs during the because of work and find it to be a great start to the day, does anyone else enjoy early morning running?
Also, wanted to say how useful I have found a run tracking app (I use Runkeeper at the moment). It really is very handy for a chance see the real progress being made. What do you guys use and is there any that you would recommend?
Happy running and have a great weekend, now for a shower and then round to a mates house for a full English and watching the Lions last test against the All Blacks 😃

All my runs and my post rambles are from early runs.. Winter and Summer... One of our friends on here MichaelH070862 gets up really early!!
Well done you... keep it slow and steady..To keep a bit of a track on stuff, as I am not really concerned about how I am doing now, ( I just run and see what happens now ) I just use my Garmin... Or read all my past rambles to see just how far I have come
Like you I run in the early mornings due to work. Completed week 8 today too. Found it a little warm but changed my route so was more enjoyable! Good luck with next week and graduation.
Just got back from last run of week 8 but it's been a tough week and not getting any easier. I've found the first five minutes each time awful. Couldn't find the right pace or breathing. Still, I did it - bring on week 9! cant wait to be able to rock up to a park run !
Glad it's going well. First 5 mins is always a bit tricky finding a rhythm. With regards to breathing I have tried to control it and do a number of different things and found the only thing that works for me is not to focus to much concentration in it and just breath however way it seems to be, then when warmed up properly it seems much easier anyway
That's true, it does improve after 5 mins! Good luck with your last week.
I run either 6am or 9 pm ish as I take my black lab out with me and if he sees other dogs then he's off and I'm usually too exhausted to shout him back. Favourite run so far is in warm drizzling rain.
