I did it, I did it, I did it! Set off with my crazy dog to distract me from the task in hand. The drizzle came at just the right moment, 5 mins in as I start to get a bit warm. I just plodded on and l let my mind wander throughout the 20 mins. I even added 10 mins run at the end and managed a couple of sprints (by my standards). Very happy to have run for 30 mins. Laura had prepared me mentally and physically for this challenge and I smashed it!
Soooooo happy. W5R3 conquered!: I did it, I did... - Couch to 5K
Soooooo happy. W5R3 conquered!
Big congratulations! Must be a great feeling. My next run will be W5R2 and I'm struggling to imagine that I'll be ready for the 20 minute run...
I should have said that Laura prepared me physically & all you wonderful people on here prepared me mentally & for that I thank you all.
Well done thats great! Can't imagibe being ready but then again I couldn't have imagined running 8 minutes which I did the other night! Keep it up x
Well done you! Thats a great achievement. I hope I can get to this stage in one piece......Ive just completed W1R2.
Brillant with the added bonus you know that you can run for the 30 minutes. Smiles all day!! Hoorah!
Well done I've got W5R3 later in the week and not looking fowards to it!
Wow you did week 9 on week 5! Well done you!
I did the same run this morning. It was not easy. When I got to 10 mins I thought "This is more than I've run in one go before" and freaked myself a bit. But the last 5 mins were the easiest - maybe because I'd slowed down to a geriatric hobble by then
No chance of me doing an extra 10 minutes!
Amazing effort well done
well done i start wk 7 tomorrow !!! ;-/
Thats great, Well done. Feels good hey?
