As Dora the explorer says, I DID IT, I DID IT! ( goes to show I watch too much telly with my 2 yr old!) I even felt like doing a jig!! I ran on for an extra minute up a hill in celebration (it more more like a very very slow jog panting heavily but who cares! I did it !!) I can't believe a former couch potato could run for 20 mins non-stop! I now believe what Laura said about the challenge being more mental at this stage. I am looking forward to W6r1 on Wednesday. Oh yeah, also some shopping ! I had promised myself funky new running gear ( get rid of my old track suit) when I run 20 mins non-stop!
W5r3 .... Done!: As Dora the explorer says, I... - Couch to 5K
W5r3 .... Done!
good on ya! I completed the 20min run today too... was better than I thought it would be. Have fun shopping you deserve it
Well done! Bet you're very proud of yourself and you have every right to be :-). I am doing this run tonight and I'm a bit nervous but determined to do it!
Well done, and enjoy the shopping spree
Well done, its a brilliant feeling Enjoy the shopping, what are you going to get?
Hurrah! well done!
Enjoy your shopping, lovely way to treat yourself for working so hard.
Sounds like you're going to face week 6 with great determination
Thanks. I have read about W6r1 being tough so I am preparing myself mentally for that challenge. Probably a shiny pink jacket will do the trick
Well done!!! I love reading of success stories in relation to that seemingly impossible W5D3!
It's my turn in the morning, dreading it and well excited all at the same time!
Congrats, you deserve your shopping treat and to feel very proud!
Well done, it was at this point I bought myself some "proper" running clothes too, well deserved.
Brilliant! I hope the shopping is/was a treat. I've just bought a strong pink jacket and it really detracts from my beetroot face when I've finished running
