Instead of following the pod cast today, I actually went further for a bit longer, Infact I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to stop but my sensible side kicked in.
For those of you wondering I ran 4 miles or 6.44 kilometres in 30 mins.
When I set out this morning I wasn't planning to run that distance but I have managed 5k for a couple of weeks.
So for the second time this week I ran 4 miles, this program has helped me quite a lot and I would happily recommend it to anyone, but now I think they need to also do a 10k program.
I have enjoyed the training and will continue to train so I can run 10k then eventually 15k 3 times a week. My goal is set for next year to run and complete 2013 Edinburgh Marathon.
So wish me luck folks as I continue to train, I am excited to graduate next week. I should have done this years ago.
I was a good runner 20 something's years ago at school, so that probably explains why I have taken to like a duck to water. I fully don't expect to keep that pace, I will probably slow down as the distance increases. Thanks for your comment though and good luck with week 7
